Oh Pear-eee

Since Michael had just returned from Paris with his pal Charlie a few weeks ago, I took my parents to Paris alone on the Eurostar train, which goes under the English Channel (how neat is that) and arrived in the heart of Paris in just two short hours!

Paris was even more beautiful than I remembered it to be years ago and my parents had a wonderful time. We did all of the typical touristy sight-seeing and took a ton of fun pictures. My mom compares everything to Paris now :)
Our first major sight - the Arc de Triomphe
Standing along the Champs-Élysées
The courtyard of the Louvre
Look at all those people lining up to take pictures of the Mona Lisa! And yes, she is a lot smaller than you'd imagine!
The Louvre's 2nd most famous piece - Venus di Milo (aka. Aphrodite, Goddess of Loooove)
Double-decker bus tour!
The French embracing their bodies and nakedness is an understatement :)
No trip to Paris is complete until you've eaten crepes!
On a boat tour of the River Seine
Jardin du Luxembourg
Eiffel Tower at Night - look at the moon!
Every night after sunset, the Eiffel Tower lights up for the first 5 minutes of every hour like a bunch of glittering diamonds!
Having a snack in front of Scacré-Coeur Basilica (it's breathtaking)!!!A view of Paris from the top of Scacré-Coeur Escargot!!!
Back at the Arc de Triomphe one last time before we leave ol' Pearee...

"Uh-hoh-hoh-hoh!!!" - Pepe Le Pew

In case you've never been to France. The captioned quote is how all French people laugh.

After Amsterdam, Yen went back to London for work while Charlie and I roamed around Paris. There weren't too many pictures from my camera so these will have to suffice. Will get more up once I get them from Charlie. Alot of food pictures probably.

Here's a picture of some goofy tourist (Charlie) taking pictures of some more goofy tourists.

Finally saw the Eiffel tower up close. Surprisingly, I actually never went to the Eiffel tower on my first trip to Paris a few years back. Here it is.
